Nameless HERE for evermore
This it is and nothing more Darkness there and nothing more
Merely this and nothing more. 'T is the wind and nothing more!
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary
Only this and nothing more Perched, and sat, and nothing more
while I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping
Presently my heart grew stronger, hesitating then no longer
Quoth the Raven, "never more."
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor...Shall be lifted-nevermore!
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing
With such a name as "Nevermore."
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."
Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, STILL is sitting
back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning
Then the bird said "Nevermore."
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."
SHE shall press, ah, nevermore! Meant in croaking "Nevermore." Of 'Never--nevermore."
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."
